"Knock sensor 1 circuit, bank 1" names the first of the sensors that listen to the engine for the sharp noise of abnormal combustion, on the cylinder group the computer numbers first, and names its circuit rather than what it heard. The code identifies which sensor and which bank, and states no measurement.
This is a standard code. It means the same thing on every make of vehicle.
There is no knock reading on the Dashboard; the related figure it does carry is Ignition timing, which the computer retards when it acts on what those sensors report, drawn as a live trace beside Engine speed and Engine load. A recorded drive keeps that trace, so the timing can be replayed rather than watched once.
The Dashboard's Misfire count cards show one counter per cylinder once the engine is running, next to the Engine speed and Ignition timing traces. The Full scan's On-board self-tests give each cylinder's misfire count for the last ten drives and this drive with its share of the total, and a recorded drive works out a misfire rate over that recording for the Analysis screen and the printed report. The Inspection screen shows whether the Misfire detection monitor is done or still running.
