What P0741 means
The torque converter is the fluid coupling between engine and gearbox, and its clutch is the part that can lock the two together so they turn as one. The official name, 'Torque converter clutch performance or stuck off', says the module commanded that lock-up and then compared what it measured afterwards against what the commanded state should have produced; stuck off names the side of the mismatch, the locked state being asked for and not measured. The wiring side of the same clutch has its own separate names, 'Torque converter clutch circuit' and 'Torque converter clutch electrical', and 'Torque converter clutch stuck on' is the same comparison failing the other way round.
This is a standard code. It means the same thing on every make of vehicle.
What the program shows for P0741

Compare between two recordings shows whether the code is Gone, New or Still there.
